Cello Gripper...

I have a notebook where I jot down ‘everything’, from my thoughts when I am lonely, to opinions that I don’t share with my colleagues, to reminders to myself, to official documentation regarding my job. Actually it is an old unused ‘diary’ which surfaced at the beginning of this year as I was cleaning out my closet, and as the quality seemed good, I decided to use it.

Me and Football

These days I am participating in the “Chumey Open” football tournament, as a player in “Upper Chhokhor United” team. Though I am not a skilled footballer, my interest in this sport has me participating in many local tournaments.

Inspiration Comes in Unintended Moments

Meeting friends at Rover’s camp

The first night I reached there was at around 9:30 pm. It was a slippery journey, especially the last leg, but when my headlights shone on the campground I saw the remnant of a campfire around which were seated dark shapes. I could make out tents encircling the campground, and lights being reflected from the puddles on the ground (from the recent shower). The lone bulb hanging on a pole near the campfire barely offered enough light.

Lost and Found

Today an interesting incident happened to me.

It was forecast yesterday in BBS that there would be rain in my region, and indeed it was raining the whole night. Not the heavy stormy torrential type, but the drizzling occasional showering type. So early morning when I left home for school, I had taken an umbrella. I used it while taking my 3 minute walk to school, and also while supervising the morning social work.

Where's My Captain?

While the Old went out, the New isn't in.
So we’re all in a rudderless ship,
Awaiting for the Captain’s appearance.
And the crew is restless, in anticipation…
How is the Captain? Where is he?

Basically Scouting

During the 4th Rovers Adventure Camp at the National Scouts Centre in Paro, a number of Scout Leaders and Senior Scouts had volunteered their services as Camp Staff. I was part of that group. And in attendance as participants of the camp were Rovers from premiere institutions across the country, Community Based Scouts (CBS) and Rovers from Denmark.
